Hong Lok Yuen/Norwegian Int'l Shool/Int'l Christian School

norwegian international school has a fantastic principal, john lok.
the school itself has an active parent community and fees are quite affordable.
they have a fantastic international curriculum.
sorry can't be more specific, my children don't go there but i have heard quite a bit about it.

My kids are both at NIS. One in kidergarten and one in primary. NIS has a very unique atmosphere that I have not seen at any other school in HK. The classes are small and my grade one son knows all the kids in the whole primary school. They have a much more relaxed and 'whole kid' attitude than I have seen anywhere else.

I did attend an open day at HLY and I felt it would also be similar to schooling in New Zealand (home country). Can't comment on ICS - except to say that the size of the debenture ruled it out for us.

Many thanks fee!

So which shool you would recommend to other kids? I prefer HLY but it's quite expensive. I love NIS but something is not enough....not know how to describe.

What's your opinion? Are your kids very happy? you are not regretting sending them to NIS at all? any comments?

My three children go in ICS. One of them in kindergarten, one of them in elementary school, one of them in middle school. As for them, a lot of homework seems to be hard (except kindergartener ), but are used immediately.
We are not Christians, but the half of the students are non-Christians. About the elementary school, the grade has three classes in 25 students per a class. The middle school has six classes in 13 students per a class.
The debenture is expensive. But the total amount returns at the time of graduation or a student quits school. We think that we should think that it is the deposit that does not get interest.
