So far here is my understanding of the priority order, please correct me if I am wrong:
1. Cat1, ESF kinder/siblings/parents working there
2. Cat1, not ESF kinder/no siblings/parnets not working there
3. Cat2, ESF kinder/siblings/parents working there
4. Cat2, not ESF kinder/no siblings/parents not working there
I have been hearing that for this year children in 3 and 4 above are pretty much getting shut out of the door while some in 3 are on waiting list. So here is my question - since there are only 4 ESF kinders but more primary schools, where are then other Cat1 kids coming out from all a sudden? Just kids of non-chinese speaking families who have gone to non-ESF kinders and are now trying to get into ESF primary?
