ESF kindergarten vs Starters School

I've got a 3 year old girl and am troubling myself which school I should decide for her for these two years before entering primary.

Of course we target her to enter ESF school. And they both have good reputation on getting children into ESF.

I've visited both schools and they are quite different from the first impression. Some of my friend's chlildren go to Starters so I know a bit of that school. I want to know more about ESF kindergarten life.

I don't want my child to repeat the same curriculum throughout 2 years. Maybe I could be a bit of a demanding mother for a 3 year old girl... but anyway can anybody give me some feedback here? Thanks a lot!!!

Hi Sarah,

My son went to ESF Kindy and loved it. They learn through play and I believe Starters and Woodlands prepare the kids better for P1, but the ESF kids do catch up. I remember my son's teacher telling me that my son would write his name in all CAPS. Actually he did very little writing in kindy and only learnt his lower case letters in P1.

More on the kindy here
