Hi again

I was on holiday sorry
I will go to the school tomorrow to get the textbooks and will ask about the link to secondary as i have no idea. I do have a secondary aged child, but she is a girl and she is in St Margaret girls college in which she got in after going through the formal admission process and she has never attend local school in HK.

Hi Sophie,
I am French as well and am considering alternatives to the Lycee Francais / French education system as I would like my daughter to speak Canto / Mando (not sure if both is too much) but am also concerned that she then will not speak / write French properly and will not sound like a native speaker due to the zillion languages she would be exposed to! She's still a baby but it's never too early to ponder this issue in HK!
Her father doesn't speak French so home is a mix of French and English & I don't really see much of her during the week (I work full time)

Would be interested to know what this has been like for your kids - I read above that so far so good but curious as to how you are also maintaining their French skills?
Thanks so much in advance.

My son is enrolled to CMS for Fall 2014. I wonder if any parents can comment on the curriculum etc. My wife is worried that there is no follow on school (if there is let me know). I guess also there is no precedent for the internationalized curriculum there as it has only been a few years but if you have feedback (positive and negative both please) let me know..... Also, my boy went to a local KG and speaks fluent Eng and Mando (Canto is okay spoken but understands everything). Any comments on the language used at school? I really want him to be strongly tri-lingual. His strongest language now is English and I'm worried he wont be pushed to improve his Canto and Mando. Furthermore, he is now the only mixed race kid in his class, and although it may seem superficial, I wonder if any parent, or anyone who knows could let me know the diversity breakdown of the classrooms as it seems now in hus current class he is always the 'odd one out' for better or worse.

Any comments welcome!

Thanks
