I believe the school isn't issuing anymore and hence there are very few available

As I work at CDNIS I can explain the situation here. We have not issued any Capital Debentures for many years; we have a long waiting list of existing parents who would like to buy them as an investment and in order to avoid paying our capital levy. Since existing parents have priority, and debentures can only be sold through the school, there is currently no way for prospective parents to acquire them. In any case, debentures do not guarantee entry, even for applicants who pass our assessment, although they do confer some priority. Hope this clarifies.
