My 18 month old daughter recently wakes up with a very small pool of blood on the mattress and all over her face. I keep her room between 50-70% humidity and also make sure she has enough fluid. I cut her nails down so that there are no whites showing, but it seems not not help. She has been getting her molars in, so maybe its the pain from teething that she thinks is in her nose? I notice that when I give her a bit of ibuprofren at night, she does not wake up with the blood. Can any one offer any insight or solution??
